ESD Training & Certification

SH&A Certified ESD Specialist^SM Program

Knowledgeable companies use ANSI/ESD S20.20 or IEC 61340-5-1 as a basis for their ESD training. The ESD Certified Specialist Program has been designed to prepare you to effectively implement and manage these programs.

SH&A's Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Programs have been adopted by major global corporations for the training of their site and regional ESD Coordinators.

The Specialist Program consists of 3 major ESD training courses:

ESD Training Courses:

• Level 1: Plant Auditor

  Level 1 will teach you how to make the required measurements verifying that your process ESD Controls are functional.

• Level 2: Program Design & Administration

  Level 2 will teach you to design and document an effective ESD Program based on the sensitivity of the devices handled in your process.

• Level 3: Process Capability Analysis

  Level 3 will teach you how to use advanced instruments to analyze your process for problems and determine the most ESD sensitive device your process can handle safely without electrostatic damage.

Candidates who successfully pass the ESD training Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 exams will be certified by SH&A’s Senior staff. Technology is changing every day at a rapid rate and our training services keep you up-to-date with these changes. You are more prepared to provide quality production services and, as a result, are knowledgeable about the various steps you can take to construct or work on electrical devices without causing any damages to them. Our Auditor training course is another useful tool for teaching the basics of ESD.
